Project Overview

All Gen Solutions were engaged to upgrade, deliver and install key power generation infrastructure at Umuwa, SA.

The project included retrofitting new control systems to two generators and the HV switch room, supplying and commissioning two prime power generators, upgrading and testing the HV switch room (including power factor correction), and integrating the backup system into the existing powerhouse.

Works also covered engine pre dleivery servicing and testing, installation of external roof-mounted mufflers, a new site earth grid, civil works (foundations and service routes), full logistics to the remote site, and complete on-site installation of gensets, HV switch room, cabling (LV & HV), fuel system, access structures and final commissioning to ensure seamless operation.
